San
Francisco: State Court Adam
King was dragged from his jail cell to the front of
the court. “What’s
going on?” Adam demanded. The
man brought him, handcuffed, to his lawyer. Tomas was
half smiling, and grabbed his client and pulled him to
the front desk. “We
have convinced the judge to let you out on bail,”
Tomas whispered. “But you must be accompanied by a
patrol guard at all times. We knew there was some work
that needed to be done. Your father should be coming by
with the limo soon.” Adam
suddenly lit up. Tomas
went to the front desk with the judge. They then
disappeared briefly in a small room. When they emerged
with a few papers not a few seconds later, the judge
gasped: “He’s
gone!” Darla’s Home A
man was attacking her! Darla
Tom saw a metallic glint in the man’s hands, and
knew that he must have a knife. She took her elbow a
whacked him in the ribs. “Ow!”
came a familiar voice. “What are you doing?” Darla
spun around, and gasped. “Robert?” Robert
Carlyle was clutching his ribs. “Hello to you,
too,” he groaned sarcastically. “I
had no idea it was you,” Darla babbled. “I thought
you were a stranger.” Darla wondered about the glint
of metal, but saw that he was wearing a watch. The metal
was from the watch. “I
have a key, remember?” Robert sat down in the living
room. “And I has some good news. I looked into the
plane situation regarding Kassie – ” “And
is my daughter okay?” Darla broke in. “—
and
she is fine. They had ‘the situation under control’
and the plane was landing on schedule.” Darla
ran up to Robert and gave him a big hug. “I wonder
what she found out?” Suddenly,
Darla didn’t feel very well. Robert watches as Darla
ran into the bathroom and threw up. Morning sickness. Evans Residence Addy
Evans came into the house with a bunch of papers in
her arms. She immediately saw Giovanni
Pike, half naked, on the couch with her daughter. “What
is going on here!?” Gillian
Evans immediately got up, thinking of the right
words to say to her mother. “It… it isn’t what it
looks like.” “Dear,”
Addy said, throwing her papers to the floor, “I am not
stupid. My eyes are functioning perfectly. I know
what I saw.” Giovanni
knew that he was in the middle of yet another Evans
fight. “I was just stung by a bee,” he defended.
“She was applying lotion.” Addy
nodded sarcastically. “Oh. Now it explains why you had
no shirt on and that my daughter was half undressed.” “I
was getting ready for work!” Gillian sputtered. “He
came to the door, and a bee stung him. He took off his
shirt so I wouldn’t ruin the fabric with the lotion. I
forgot that I wasn’t wearing much.” Addy
came closer to her daughter, pointing to her forehead.
“Do I have the word ‘dumb’ written here? Two
people don’t end up half naked – and not realize it
– without something happening. You guys seemed pretty
into applying lotion.” Gillian
was aggravated. “And so what if we were
into it? What could you do?” “You
ungrateful…” Addy started. “Woah!”
Giovanni stepped in, picking his shirt off the floor.
“I will be leaving now. I hope you two work this
out.” The
two women watched as Giovanni exited the house, holding
his shirt. Giovanni gave Addy a peck on the cheek. He
got to the door, turned around, and gave Gillian a wink.
He smiled and left. Addy
turned to her daughter. “What was that
about? Either he had something in his eye, or you two
have something going on.” “And
if there was, you wouldn’t stand a chance, old
woman,” Gillian sneered, turning to the stairs. “I…” Gillian
turned back to her mother. “This is my house. I have
to go to work now.”
Outside,
Iris Torres was
coming to give Gillian the new about Adam’s guilty
verdict. She may have already heard it on the news, but
she was sure that a friend’s account would be just as
interesting. Suddenly,
Giovanni burst out of the house. Iris
froze in the driveway as he neared. This
was Giovanni? she
thought. This was the guy Gillian was trying to
set me up with? He
has the body, she thought, on an Adonis. He was tanned,
and he was a perfect built. Tight abs and pecs
complemented his chiseled featured. I’m
all for him! Consuelos Residence Mateo
Consuelos work up. He was lying on the floor, and
couldn’t remember how her got there. There was a
bruise on his head, and he rubbed it. “What
time is…” he stopped as her read the clock. “What?
A day has passed? What happened to me…” He
remembered. Skye Lore
was attacking his brother with the frying pan, and he
got in the way, and then was attacked. Skye?
he wondered to himself. What is wrong with you? Presence
Beach Dean
Consuelos was walking along the beach with Skye. He
looked back at his brother’s house. “Is Mateo going
to be alright?” Skye
turned to Dean. “He’ll be fine.” She put a
concerned look on her face. “You should be wary of
him. If you don’t want the police to find you,
you’ll have to keep him in the dark about
everything.” Dean
nodded. “And your other premonitions: how are they
going to affect me?” Skye
leaned close to him. “Just remember that no police man
with ever arrest you. And you can only be brought down
once all of San Francisco comes to Presence.” “How
is all that possible?” Dean demanded. “And how did
you know I killed a man?” “I
know all there is about you,” Skye whispered. “I get
it all from my dreams… and other
places. If I was right about one thing, I’m right
about the others.” Dean
kept walking with Skye until she finally stopped and sat
down in the sand. “I don’t know what’s wrong with
me,” she began. “I don’t even know who I am.” “You
mean you still haven’t found out about your past?”
Dean questioned. “It has been several days since Mateo
rescued you from the ocean. You have no idea how you got
there?” Skye
shook her head. “I know about other people’s pasts,
but nothing about mine. It is kind or creepy.” “You
know,” Dean said, turning to Skye. “You always get
this odd look when you go all crazy. Glazed. I could
swear your eyes…” “Stop!”
Skye yelled. “I… really don’t want to know.” She
cleared her throat, and regained composure. “You just
do as I say, and you’ll be fine.” Dean
nodded, and looked out to the ocean. Skye
was smiling, and knew that everything was going to work
out for her. All her plans for Dean were going
perfectly. San
Francisco Police Department: 42nd Precinct Officer
Tina Herbst was looking over evidence with her partner,
Rick Grabowski. They didn’t have much to go on, but
she was going to find the killer. “This
is a common crime,” Grabowski told his partner. “A
drug dealer murdered in an alley. All these dealers have
the same bullets. Hard to trace.” Herbst
was looking through the many items that the victim was
carrying. She had her eye on a wallet. She picked it out
of the pile. “Tina,”
Grabowski pleaded. “We’ve looked trough it already.
What are you going to find?” She
picked up the wallet and leafed through it.
“Anything.” She searched all the papers and cards.
She then shoved her finger deep into a slot. “There
might be something…” She
retrieved a small folded sheet of paper. She unfolded
it, and on it was a phone number: ‘CALL
NOW! IMPORTANT! 555-9110.’ She
immediately dialed the number. Consuelos Residence Mateo
was stumbling around. He couldn’t find Dean or Skye
around anywhere. He sat down in the living room, and
spotted Dean jacket on the coffee table. “He
left his jacket,” Mateo mumbled. “Those two must
have something important to talk about.” Suddenly,
he heard a cell phone ring.
It was coming from the jacket. Mateo looked
around, and then reached for the coat. He waited to see
if the ringing would stop. It didn’t, so he answered. “Hello?”
Mateo said. “This
is Officer Tina Herbst,” came a female voice. “We
need to ask some questions…” Evans Residence Addy
picked up the papers she had thrown on the floor.
Gillian has just left for work out the back door, and
she had some work she needed completed. She
sat down at the kitchen table. With
Iris Torres in the hospital and Adam King arrested, we
have had to pick up the slack,
Addy lamented silently. ‘Natural
Exposure’ had a huge advertising campaign coming up,
and she needed to order some models to choose area to
target their ads. Addy
pulled out some order forms, and dialed the number at
the top of the sheet. “Hello?…
Yes… I need to place an order… I need three
models… Yes… Natural Exposure…” Addy eyed the
order form. “I need San Diego… San Francisco…
Sacramento… Yes… ASAP… for our ad campaign…
Yes… Bye…” Addy
sighed. She thought about Giovanni, but realized that
she had a lot of work to do. Presence
Inn Vivian
Torres was furious at Bo!
He demanded that they left that day, and to leave their
daughter, Iris, alone again. They had only been there a
few days. “Bo,
I have already threatened to revealed the horrible thing
you and Wyle, our
son, did,” she spoke to herself. “I hope you realize
I have the upper hand. As
she packed, she reflected back to when Iris had to
testify against Adam King. Vivian was the one who had to
convince Iris it was the right thing to do. She also
remembered Adam’s cold eyes looking at her and Iris
talking as he was dragged away. “Thank
goodness her locked away,” she said. “He’s
crazy.” Vivian
crossed the room to get her shoes. There was then a
knock at the door. “Hello?”
Vivian called out. “It’s open.” Nothing. “All
right, all right… I’m coming.” Vivian came back
across the room and to her room’s entrance. She opened
the door. A
man holding a knife stood at the door! She gasped. “Oh
my God!” Vivian
backed away, but she was rushed and attacked. The man
held the knife high above her, as she was pinned down. “I
know you did it! Killing me won’t keep it away!”
Vivian screamed as the knife was stabbed through her
head. “I
did nothing…” came the killer’s voice, as he
retreated out of the room. The room remained still. As
did Vivian’s heart…
